Come and meet Mr. Abdullatif Al Sayegh the CEO of AMG.

speaker

Abdullatif Al Sayegh’s journey with Arab Media Group (AMG) began in 2001 when he was charged with creating and launching a brand new radio station in Dubai. Abdullatif began his career at Arabian Radio Network (ARN), with just five staff under his command. He was assigned with launching Al Arabiya 99 FM, as the first station of the newly formed network.

But Abdullatif had bigger plans. With the launch of the MTV Arabia television channel, a vigorous new focus on online development as well as a partnership with Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Radio International to launch AMG’s ninth radio station, Virgin Radio Dubai. Under Abdullatif’s focused leadership, the company has come a long way from that original small team of just five staff. Now, AMG employs about 1800 staff and has four Dubai-based premises as well as international locations.

We’ve taken the Middle East’s premier Kids and Youth Marketing Summit and made it even more relevant to marketers in the region

A market you need to crack:

Unabashed consumerism, a passion for technology, a need to have fun, hope and trust in what the future might hold, self-confidence and a sense of identity, wanting to make the world a better place to live in, and an awareness and respect for global icons make the “New World” Arab youth very much part of a global youth culture.”
TNS

While the exact proportion of the youth population varies slightly by country, everywhere the youth are a significant segment – nearly half of the total GCC population is 19 years old and below. In Saudi Arabia, 67% are under 25!

“The biggest challenge when marketing to the youth segment is that trends are changing at an incredibly rapid pace. One day Playstation is cool, the next day it’s Xbox. One day it’s Ipod, the next day it’s something else. How to keep your brand fresh and innovative is key to capturing this market.”
Red Bull

To put it mildly, not marketing correctly to this segment poses GRAVE DANGERS for brands. They are a FORCE TO RECKON WITH and a generation that WILL NOT BE IGNORED. Register yourself and your Team today!!!
